Common questions

Do I need to be there in person?

Yes. Under Utah notary rules the signer must appear in person before the notary. A video call does not count.

What should I bring?

A current government-issued photo ID and your complete document. Don't sign it ahead of time unless we tell you that's fine for your document.

Can a notary give legal advice or write my document?

No. In Utah a notary may not give legal advice or draft a document they will notarize; that requires a licensed attorney.
